The California Rabbit and Cavy Breeders Association experienced a very tragic incident at the State Convention in Merced, California on February 27.  The Cal State Board of Directors are currently pursuing all avenues to mitigate this terrible situation and bring closure to all involved and are communicating privately with those parties.  The Board of Director's would like to express their heartfelt sympathy to each and every exhibitor who lost rabbits or had rabbits injured.  The situation was devastating and traumatic for all of our exhibitors, board, judges and especially those personally impacted and we appreciate the outpouring of support the rabbit and cavy community has shown.
